The Growth of Rebekah Bianca Studios: A Journey of Passion and Perseverance

Photography has always been my thing. I remember those childhood school camps, armed with a $7 disposable camera from BI-LO, capturing every moment. And watching my mum on our family holidays capture all the waterfalls and lighthouses we visited. These early experiences ignited my love for capturing milestones and preserving precious memories. In high school, I dove deeper into the world of photography, learning the magic of the darkroom and developing my own photos. It was then that I discovered the power of visual storytelling. Thanks to the support of Reynella East High School, I even completed my Year 12 photography studies in year 10, leaving me with no reason whatsoever to stay at school any longer…

Eager for more creative exploration,

I headed to Noarlunga TAFE SA, immersing myself in IT and Multimedia for a year. It was a time of self-discovery and growth, where my passion for visual storytelling blossomed.

When I was 16 I shot my first wedding in 2006 for FREE. I knew from then on I wanted to be a wedding photographer but never felt worthy of such a significant role. I continued to see if I could shoot weddings in secret for free so no one could blow my cover that I wasn’t a ‘real’ wedding photographer.

So, let's be real—I went through some tough times in my teens and early adulthood.

I felt lost, not willing to open up to anyone about traumatic experiences, made mistakes, mixed with the wrong crowds, and even lived out of my holden station wagon for a few weeks with everything I owned inside it.

I felt like that’s all I deserved to have…

But then, everything changed when I met my now-ex-husband in 2012, and photography began taking off again. We connected on a vibration that allowed us both to growth as individuals supported by one another.

Unfortunately our personal growth journeys steered us into different directions and we separated September 2023.

During our decade long chapter, I raised his son from 8-18 years old. He and I hold a strong bond through experiencing change and growth together.

We lived in a 100 year old farmhouse on a property in the middle of no-where. It was beautiful peaceful and We shared many experiences with bush fires, floods, lighting storms, dust storms, the drought, animals and nature.

I learnt to ride a horse, train a horse and worked with thoroughbred colts, fillies, foals and brood-mares in the racing industry.

I purchased 2 horses who lived in my front yard, Bronty and Neesa. Neesa and I rode 1000’s of kilometres together on our own and with the SAERA (South Australian Endurance Riders Association). I became a TPR (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration) who could assist vets during the weekend of a ride ensuring horses were sound to travel distances up to 200 kms.

I organised a ride of my own TOWITTA TREK May 2021. And enjoyed taking photos at rides when ever I didn’t have a wedding to shoot instead.

I only reached the 40km level of riding before I realised how unbalanced I was as a rider. So I chose to work on my own body and mind instead of my horses.

I took a step back from riding and training horses before moving my horses to their new owners and new home in 2023.

Rebekah Bianca Studios became a testament to the power of following your passion.

Let’s go back a bit now to just when things were looking up for Rebekah Bianca Photography as the business used to be named, the unexpected happened. In early 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and I lost my part-time job at Specsavers. I loved using the OCT machine to photograph the internals of patients' eyes, assisting optometrists in improving vision. Losing that income and consistency was tough, but I wasn't about to give up.

Instead of wallowing in despair, I made a bold move. I invested in a business coach and devoted myself to turning my photography passion into a full-time profession.

Despite the uncertainty, I saw an opportunity to make Rebekah Bianca Studios emerge as it truely is and thrive, offering an exceptional experience for our clients. With determination, working hard to learn how to work smarter, and the support of the universe, family, friends which are also clients, and my business coach, I persevered.

Rebekah Bianca Studios became a testament to the power of following your passion. Every setback became a stepping stone to growth, propelling me to capture love stories with creativity, authenticity, and professionalism.

Today, I'm incredibly grateful for the lessons learned during those challenging times. I'm thankful for my amazing team who help me provide the best experience for you.

It's an honour to document your love story, preserving the essence of your special day in visual narratives that will stand the test of time.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Let's come together and create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

With heartfelt gratitude, Rebekah Bianca
